“Exuviae”, is inspired by the natural phenomenon of certain living organisms that shed their skin in order to grow. This line redefines how this phenomenon would be reinterpreted on the human body. Each piece emphasizes a specific part of the human body that exposes the “exuviae” of the model. The idea is for the runway model to capture the moment in time when the skin is being detached. Some pieces are more structural, representing the earlier stages when the clear skin is still an exoskeleton. The more chaotic and freeform pieces represent the moment in time when the skin is detaching away from the body.
